EARLY ROOTS OF JAZZ: “HOT LIPS”

I selected and mastered for streaming, the truly obscure “Hot Lips” by Bill Brown and his Brownies.  I found this @ publicdomain4u.com. The unbridled fun is the reason for the selection; You can hear this playfulness right at the top of the track.

The interplay between musicians is evident as the individual musicians perform. The combo blending also allows whichever soloist to have maximum sonic space. These soloists are fueled by the other musicians to create the quality of music that has survived from 1927. What music fun!
